There is a little experiment I did this afternoon is to mix the spirit and tea.
Method: Just simply put a drop of spirit into the tea.
Tea: I used Organic White Tea (lightly oxidazed Oolong) from Ming Sheng Organic Farm(洺盛有機農場)
Spirits: from left to right
(1) Glenrothes 1968/ aged 40 years, single malt single cask, 51.8% acl
(2) Cognac Prunier 40% acl
(3) Longrow, aged 29 year, single malt single cask
The aroma of spirit and tea perfectly combines with each other. A strong fragrance of honey, ripe fruits, and pine wood aries from the very moment the spirit was dropped in. The oil of spirits make the tea less astrigent, and become more rounded and smooth.
You should try some while have chance!
